Ex-Acne Sufferer Reviews the 3 Best Acne Products Available

Before we begin let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was an acne sufferer for 12 long years (age 13 to 25.) I spent A LOT of money trying to get rid of my acne, and eventually over many years found out exactly how to clear my skin for good. So I set up this free website to help YOU cure your acne, and hopefully I can reach as many acne sufferers as possible through my blog in order to help them.

I'm 26 right now, and like I said I had acne for over 12 years. I'm talking everything from cystic acne on my face and back to annoying blackheads. It wasn't until the last few months that I finally managed to clear my skin.

I used to try cleansers and acne pills like Proactiv, Murad and Zenmed. I also tried anti-biotics and the dreaded Accutane (which I DO NOT recommend due to the horrible and possibly long-term side effects.) I'm sure you've also tried these as they are the "obvious" acne treatments online. But the problem with them is that they didn't help me clear my acne and most people find it's the same for them...

In fact I tried dozens of "made-for-acne" products without any improvement in my skin and a huge dent in my wallet.

I came to find out that the best acne products online were not these expensive pills or cleansers, but were in actual fact hugely valuable acne e-books..
I came across the following acne books because I had tried everything else for my acne and really had no other choice really. Let's begin.

Acne Free in 3 Days

This is the famous book you've probably seen advertised online that promises to cure acne in 3 days. The program is a 3 day fast and colon cleansing procedure and is not easy to do.
I did try it and the results were pretty good actually. My skin was much clearer by the end of the first 3 days. And although I wasn't totally clear the improvement was very noticeable.
The problem with this program is that the results don't last forever unless you plan on fasting every few weeks which is extremely difficult. There are two reasons why this isn't such a good idea:
Firstly it's very time-consuming and energy-draining doing a fast for 3 days. If you have a busy lifestyle it's probably not suitable for that reason alone.
Secondly, in my opinion, fasting on a regular basis may make you lose too much weight, which could be dangerous.
Overall Acne Free in 3 Days is a decent enough program, and is healthy to do once in a while, but it's not a permanent acne cure. I would suggest it if you need a 'quick fix' if you're going on vacation or something and you need to get clear fast for the short term.
I give this e-book a 6/10. Here's the Acne Free in 3 Days website.

Acne No More

The next book I found is Acne No More. This is an interesting book and 200+ pages long. It offers lots of information on issues like diet and cleansing, and recommends lifestyle changes.
It's actually a really good book but it comes with a drawback.
The main problem I had with Acne No More is how much it expects you do in order to clear your skin. Liver cleansing for months, a very strict diet and other lifestyle changes are required in this program and although it did help me get some consistent, if not perfect results, overall it was a lot of hard work that I'm not sure most of my readers will be able to handle. I give Acne No More 8/10. You can see the website here if you wish to go this route.

So after reading these 2 books and being excited at the prospect of getting clear skin in an all natural manner, but also disappointed in the amount of work I had to put into it.

That was until I found this new book about clearing up acne naturally called:

Mr X Acne Says.

After doing a little bit of research and hearing very good reviews, I decided to purchase it.

Boy am I glad I did. And so is my girlfriend. ;-)

The information in this book is revolutionary to say the least and requires only some very specific and easy directions. These include some simple diet changes, taking a few unique (and inexpensive) supplements and using a natural cleanser most people have in their kitchen. There are also a few other recommendations which are very useful. All of Mr X Acne is focused on balancing, manipulating, and optimizing hormones. Hormones are the root cause of acne, so this is a very good approach and by far the healthiest for not only your skin, but your overall health.

The Mr X Acne book was interesting to read and made a lot of sense, but again, would the program work?

After a few days of following the advice of Mr X Acne I was seeing some pretty dramatic results. My cysts were calming down and I wasn't getting any new acne breakouts.
It was looking very promising and after about 2 weeks by skin was pretty much completely clear barring some pesky blackheads, but cystic acne had calmed down almost completely. All I had to worry about after this was the marks left by old acne, but these simply fade with time and the process outlined in the book greatly sped along that process too.

Overall then, Mr X Acne was the best program out of the 3 and it was a relief to get clear skin after a long 12 years.

I give Mr X Acne Says 10/10. Click here for the Mr X Acne Says website where you can get the program.

Summary:
Acne Free in 3 Days
A good clear skin booster but not a permanent solution. 6/10

Acne No More
Very strict program which takes months to get consistent results, but definitely worth the purchase if you have motivation and discipline. 8/10

Mr X Acne Says
A simple program that produced noticeable results in a couple of days and left me almost completely clear in a few short weeks. Diet changes, supplements, natural cleanser and other invaluable advice.

Whatever you decide to do I wish you good luck in your quest for clear skin.

Good luck.
